Animal species:
Weaned piglet, calf, day-old chicken, day-old turkey and day-old aquatic poultry.
Use of the preparation, recommendations, suggestions:
For the prevention and treatment of diarrhea of various etiology (caused by osmotic -, secretory -, facultative pathogens, intestinal disbiotic diarrheas), for the maintenance of an eubiotic intestinal flora.
Wendelin essencia digestive contains all the bactericide and bacteriostatic medicinal herbs that are in the Wendelin essencia diarrhea product. The medicinal herb mixture facilitates the expulsion of disbiosis causing gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria from the intestinal tract, it has a bacteriostatic effect on disbiotic intestinal bacteria, but it doesn’t block the proliferation of the valuable species of the eubiotic intestinal flora. Mary-thistle promotes the metabolism of intense growth.
Fulvic acid, as a complex synthesizer that is easily absorbed in the small intestine, expedites the absorption of free amino acids in the intestine.
Fulvic acid easily forms complexes with cations and anions, thereby it facilitates the delivery of salts in the case of animals suffering from diarrhea. We also mix natural electrolyte into the Wendelin essencia digestive preparation, which contains 84 macro- and microelements. By binding with fulvic acid these elements are absorbed in the small intestine.
The essence has significant natural apple pectin content. Pectin and hemicellulose are water soluble fermenting fibers, they are the best nutrients for bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. They assist so eubiotic bacteria can fill intestinal spaces. Pectin also has complex synthetizing characteristic. It is extraordinarily important that as a result of their complex synthetizing effect the concentration of materials such as fructose and glucose contained in the feed, which facilitate osmotic diarrhea in the chymus (intestinal content), is reduced.
In the large intestine pectin promotes an eubiotic intestinal flora, as a result of its activity they transform into energy supplying pectin-complex organic acids.
Papaya has been recognized for a long time as a medicinal fruit in folk medicine and animal medicine. Papain and chymopapain are the most important and strongest effect enzymes found in papaya. The enzymes of papaya have the capacity to replace pepsin. The enzymes of papaya have the capacity to compensate for the absence of amylase, lipase and protease, when the enzyme production of the pancreas is damaged. The current pH level in the intestines doesn’t have a detrimental influence on its effect, it catalyzes well in a neutral or slightly base environment. This characteristic is particularly beneficial when in the animals hydrochloric acid shortage is a physiological phenomenon in the intestinal tract. Papain is considered to be the strongest protein digestive enzyme. The extraordinary effectiveness of papaya is provided by its enzyme activity. The papain enzyme has the capacity to digest an amount of protein equal to 35 times its own weight.
Based on its characteristics papain can help when protein digestive enzyme production is insufficient, and in parallel with this the animals suffer from stomach acid deficiency. This critical period is the first week after hatching in the case of poultry, while in the case of piglets 7-10 days after weaning.
Dosage and the method of application:
In the case of piglets after the 28th day weaning the digestive physiological conditions are the following:
• The pH level in the stomach and the small intestine significantly increase.
• The pepsin and trypsin secretion of piglets is insufficient in the 10-14 days after weaning, thus the enzymes required for the digestion of the prestarter feed’s non-milk origin animal and plant proteins are not yet available in the quantity needed based on the composition of the prestarter feed.
We can observe a similar enzyme deficit in the case of day-old poultry in the 4-5 days after hatching. A substantial change occurs in the nutrient supply of hatched chicken, turkey and aquatic poultry when instead of the nutrients absorbed from the vitellus they must convert to the digestion of the nutrients contained in the feed. This period, the first few days after hatching is of defining significance from the aspect of the viability and later development of the birds.
The current commercial hybrids require a high energy and high nutrient diet, so with maximum production they can produce near their genetic potential.
The digestive tract of poultry is very short, only 5-6 times longer than its own body length. The feed spends a very short time in the digestive tract, it passes through the intestinal tract in 12 hours, this fact presumes very fast and intense digestion even in the case of well utilizable feed composition. The digestive tract of day-old poultry is undeveloped, in the first days the gland produced stomach hydrochloric acid and pepsinogen production is insufficient, at this age the activity of trypsin and lipase enzymes is extraordinarily low.
Because of the hydrochloric acid and enzyme deficiency it is unable to utilize the protein and fat content of the feed with the necessary efficiency. As a result of this in a few days old chicken energy or protein deficiency can easily develop, especially if it hatches with limited nutrient reserves.
The financial damage is substantial, which can be prevented with proper management, for example with the usage of natural, exogenous enzymes that facilitate digestion, medicinal herbs that protect the intestinal mucosa and promote the development of eubiotic intestinal flora.
In the case of poultry we start the welcoming of the day-old animal with this essence, the minimum treatment period is 10 days, during this time the enzyme production and hydrochloric acid secretion of thebirds adjusts to the proper level. If diarrhea appears in the stock then the preparation should be used again for a minimum of 10 days.
In the case of weaned piglets we welcome the animals in the piglet nursery with this essence mixed in the water. Depending on the weaning age give to the piglets for 10-14 days, but mostly till the age of 42 days.
For 1-10 days old poultry: Mix the Wendelin essencia digestive with the applicable medicine dispenser into the drinking water in 2% ratio.
For weaned piglets in the piglet nursery between the age of 21-42 days: Mix the Wendelin essencia digestive with the applicable medicine dispenser into the drinking water in 2% ratio.
Packaging: 5, 10 and 20 liter ADR qualified, HDPE plastic cans.
